HR Policy

Human resources at the heart of the business

Consideration for its employees, the very essence of its service ethic, is the core value of ATMB’s HR policy. Particular attention is paid to the quality of management-employee dialogue. ATMB constantly pursues this policy through skills management and training actions.
ATMB has set up a skills management project for the Autoroute Blanche teams which incorporates the concept of career planning and individual performance.

Training to support professional development

The training and continuing skills improvement programme indicates the desire to support the professional development of employees and guide them in what constitutes the priority missions of the company.

€936,000 was spent on staff training in 2008. Safety is a major concern in this programme. Four safety exercises on the Mont Blanc Tunnel and one on the Vuache Tunnel helped provide training for ATMB staff in handling all kinds of incident. On the Autoroute Blanche, courses have been organised for drivers of clearing or construction plant, as well as courses on first aid and on procedures for various emergencies.

Mont Blanc Tunnel staff have had further training in rescue/first aid, handling stress, and incident management, using a 3D simulator.

Management-employee dialogue for listening, explaining and involving

By developing local management and by complying with the following key points, ATMB ensures the quality of listening skills and management-employee dialogue:
